The Market Square development was the
final cornerstone piece for the Beaver Creek Village. This development consisted of three major building components: a mixed-use condominium building, a
skating rink, and a below-grade theater. The Market Square
condominiums are a mix of primarily two and three bedroom units
with commercial spaces at the plaza level. Serving as the main focal point for the Beaver Creek Plaza, the ice rink was placed above the below grade 500 seat Vilar Performing Arts Center which included a reception lobby and small exhibition gallery. The Vilar Performing Arts Center was a remarkable collaboration among many design and building professionals including the philanthropic role of the Beaver Creek Resort community.
